A comprehensive QC checklist specifically for RICH Factory watches. What to look for in your QC photos, common issues, and when to approve or reject.
Every RICH Factory watch is individually inspected and photographed before shipping. You, the buyer, receive these QC (Quality Control) photos via WhatsApp, Telegram, or email and have the opportunity to approve or reject the watch before it ships. This is a crucial step that too many first-time buyers rush through. Taking 10-15 minutes to carefully examine your QC photos can mean the difference between receiving a near-perfect replica and needing to request a replacement. RICH Factory's quality control is generally excellent, but individual examples can vary slightly. Examine the case profile from the side view. RICH Factory cases should have the correct 90-degree lug tips with no rounded edges. The crown guard shape should be asymmetrical — slightly thicker on the right side — matching the genuine Submariner case. Check that the crown height sits flush with the crown guards. RICH Factory's case machining is among the best in the industry, so any visible asymmetry or rounding is a defect worth flagging.
The bezel triangle at 12 o'clock must align perfectly with the dial marker. Check this in multiple photos taken at different angles. The bezel teeth should be crisp with no burrs. If a video is available, listen for the 120-click action — it should be positive with minimal backplay. RICH Factory ceramic bezels are known for their excellent color accuracy, particularly on models like the Submariner 126610LN and 126610LV.
RICH Factory dial printing is consistently excellent. Check the 'SWISS MADE' text at 6 o'clock — it should be crisp and centered. Hour markers should be perfectly aligned. The LEC (Laser Etched Crown) at 12 o'clock should be visible under angled light and centered. On the Datejust 41, pay special attention to the date window alignment.
The date numeral should be centered in the window with correct 2.5x magnification. Check single-digit dates (1-9) and double-digit dates (10-31) if possible. RICH Factory's cyclops is generally well-aligned, but verify there's no distortion at the edges. This is where RICH Factory scored 35/35 in the RWI comparison — a perfect score.
Solid End Links should sit flush with the lugs with no visible gaps. RICH Factory SEL fitment averages 0.10mm gap — among the best in the industry. The engraved rehaut (inner bezel ring) should have the ROLEX text aligned with each hour marker. RICH Factory rehaut engraving is deep and crisp, with correct font weight. Minor misalignment of 1-2 minutes is acceptable on genuine Rolex watches too.
The crown should screw down flush against the case tube. Check the crown logo engraving — it should be sharp with proper coronet shape. On the Daytona, also check the chronograph pusher alignment.
Open and close the clasp in any available photos or video. The clasp lock should engage with a positive click. Check the Easylink extension mechanism works smoothly. Clasp blade engraving should be deep and centered.
If a movement photo is provided, verify the balance wheel is oscillating (visible in timegrapher photos). Check that the rotor is properly attached and the winding bridge is correctly aligned. RICH Factory uses the DD3235 movement in most models, which should show the fully traversing balance bridge.
RICH Factory provides timegrapher readings with all watches. Acceptable parameters: amplitude between 270-320, beat error under 0.3ms, rate between -5 and +8 seconds per day. If any of these are outside these ranges, request regulation before shipping.
Look at the watch as a whole. Do the hands align with the hour markers? Is the bezel pip centered? Are there any visible dust particles under the crystal? View the photos at full resolution and zoom into each critical area.
You should reject if: the bezel is more than 0.5mm misaligned, there are visible dust particles under the crystal, the date window is significantly off-center, the SEL gap is visible without magnification, or the timegrapher readings are outside acceptable ranges. For minor issues like slightly misaligned bezel (under 0.3mm), you can approve — even genuine Rolex watches can have these variations.
Typically 6-10 photos covering all angles plus a timegrapher video. You can request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
Usually 24-48 hours. If you don't respond within this window, the watch may be shipped automatically.
