In early 2026, a member of RWI (Replica Watch Info) conducted the most comprehensive 7-factory Submariner comparison ever published. The results surprised many in the community — RICH Factory, a relatively new name, scored an impressive 310/340 points, taking the #1 spot.

The comparison evaluated 7 key criteria for each factory's Submariner: case shape, bezel accuracy, dial printing, date magnification, bracelet finish, clasp feel, and movement function. RICH Factory scored highest in case shape and bezel accuracy — two areas that are notoriously difficult to get right on replicas.
The review noted that RICH Factory's case dimensions are indistinguishable from genuine when measured with calipers. The bezel click feel and action were described as "the closest to gen of any factory tested." The DD3235 movement's 70-hour power reserve tested accurately, and the lume was praised for its brightness and even application.
The RWI community was divided — VSF loyalists defended the established king, while new buyers saw RICH Factory's higher score as a clear signal. Since the comparison was published, RICH Factory has seen a significant increase in orders and community recognition.
